Deciduous and pioneer in this fertile soil and tree. Its wood has been widely used for making homemade candy. The fruits are edible and eagerly sought by birds and monkeys.
Shows very fast growth.
Presents ornamental characteristics of the shape of its trunk and branches, and can be successfully used in landscaping. Adapts to direct light and should be a must in any heterogeneous reforestation.
