Size ranges from 6 to 14 meters.
It has evergreen and its leaves are composed and typed. Flowers in the months from September to November with cream flowers and with many stamens. Its fruits are eaten by Amazonian populations.
Rapid development.
Species produces excellent shadow, much exploited in many Brazilian cities for urban forestry. The only downside is that its fruits can cause accidents when they fall integers, which rarely happens.
