Size range between 5 and 10 meters. Stem erect and cylindrical. Displays deciduous foliage, with leaves simple, opposite. Flowers exuberantly in the months of August and September, with showy flowers of lilac arranged in terminal panicles.
Rapid growth.
Species highly ornamental, especially when in bloom, recommended for use in landscaping in general and urban trees and very little used for this purpose.
