Porte 1.5 to 10 meters.
Stem simple, covered by the base of the fallen leaves when young and then smooth. The leaves are in range and large. The fruits are spherical, small and white.
Slow growth.
Species underused in landscaping today, found more often in collections. It has extremely ornamental features. It can be used in pots, when young, and in parks and gardens, in groups or as isolated plant. Tolerates subtropical climate.
