Size up to 30 feet tall.
Pyramidal and dense canopy. It has straight trunk, and small greenish flowers without ornamental value. The leaves are spankings and become reddish in winter before falling. The fruits are resinous and aromatic, why the U.S. this species is known as sweet-gum.
Rapid growth.
Tree planting in areas recommended for extensive and grassy, ideal for cold climates, where the leaves turn reddish its most striking.
