Wood flexible, compact, easy to work, used in making furniture and curved parts.
Its fruits are edible and very appreciated. When green juice provide a bluish color, which is also used as dye. After maturation, gives edible pulp in natura and harnessed in the form of sweets.
It blooms during the months from October to December and the fruits ripen almost simultaneously with the new bloom.
