Size ranges from 6 to 13 meters.
Semideciduous has foliage with leaves and simple that when young reddish-pink color. It blooms from August to September and the fruits begin ripening in late September going until late January. Slow growth.
The species has ornamental characteristics thanks to its delicate shape and beauty of the foliage canopy. Its fruits are edible and highly appreciated in the form of juice, which is why it is very found in orchards. They are also eaten by many species of birds.
