Size ranges from 20 to 30 meters.
Trunk gray, smooth and loose bark often. Foliage and semideciduous bipinnate compound leaves. It blooms from November through February in groups of yellow flowers.
Rapid development.
Species very useful to landscaping in general because of its excellent ornamental characteristics. It provides nice shade, but one should take into account that their branches break easily.
