Small tree 3-6m tall, with solitary flowers, big and white, formed from August to December.
The fruits are globose, aromatic pulp lasts sbaor acid and astringent that ripen in autumn.
The fruit can be consumed raw in the form of juices, but are more frequent as jams and jellies.
