Pantry and well branched trunk with cracks. The foliage is light, and ornamental semideciduous, with compound leaves and alternate. The flowers are small yellow color with patches of red and appear in clusters from spring to summer. The fruits are like pod, flattened, brown color when ripe and bittersweet. They are usually consumed in juices or in cooking. Moderate growth.
Species with many ornamental characteristics, can be successfully employed in the current landscape, such as plant alone or in groups.
