Size ranges from 6 to 15 meters.
Dense canopy. Displays evergreen, with simple, alternate leaves, lanceolate and leathery and aromatic limbo. It blooms throughout the year, with more intensity in spring and summer. The flowers are small and unimportant ornamental.
Slow growth.
Medicinal species (used for digestion and sterilization), whose leaves are also used as a condiment. It can be successfully used in general landscaping, potted plant or as isolated and also shaped by topiary art (art forms give the plants through pruning).
